Gayle Lynn Falkenthal, APR, is President of the Falcon Valley Group, a San Diego based communications consulting company. Falkenthal spent 15 years as an award-winning broadcast editor and producer before transitioning into a public relations career.   She has represented the American Red Cross, San Diego County District Attorney, San Diego Convention Center Corporation, San Diego County Water Authority, and then-City Council member Dick Murphy.  Her current clients include a range of non-profit and public organizations, and corporate and business clients.

The San Diego Press Club honored Falkenthal with the Andy Mace Award for Career Achievement in Public Relations. In additional to serving on the FOJ & MMS Board, she is a board member and past President of the San Diego Press Club; and also sits on the board of the San Diego Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, Parkinson’s Disease Association of San Diego, and KCR Radio Alumni Association.

She earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio-Television and a Master of Science degree in Mass Communication from San Diego State University.
