Eric Longabardi

Eric Longabardi is a TV producer and investigative journalist. His producing and journalism career has spanned over 18 years since he graduated from SDSU and the TCF Department in 1990. Eric's producing work has been seen on all of the national TV news networks, he has worked with ABC, NBC, CBS, FNC and CNN via programs like ABC World News Tonight, 20/20, NBC Nightly News, Fox News Channel and The CBS Evening News, among many other national and international media outlets. Eric has also worked as a local TV news investigative producer and in recent years has expanded his work to include print and online reporting. His most recent news/journalism project, TheEnterpriseReport.com, a web based investigative news outlet initially launched in mid-2007. The news site was named "Best Website - Online Only" by the L.A. Press Club in 2008. Eric presently operates his own independent news production company based in the Los Angeles area. Eric served on the Board of Directors of The Los Angeles Press Club from 2006-2008 and is a long time member of I.R.E. (Investigative Reporters and Editors) and M.R.E. (Military Reporters and Editors)

Eric has been honored with numerous national, regional and local journalism awards for his producing and reporting work, including being a recipient of the Alfred I. Dupont-Columbia award, National Headliner, Best of the West and he was named "TV Journalist of the Year" by the Los Angeles Press Club in 2000. His work has also been commended by the U.S. Congress and in the prestigious Columbia Journalism Review.

Eric graduated from San Diego State University with a BS degree in Radio/TV, with an emphasis in Broadcast Management. Eric's most important work to date is his 5-yr old daughter Sophia.
